Mornings in the Park let little ones play while moms visit.
Activities
Children are welcome at all MOMS Club activities.
Monthly Meetings
Members and visitors are encouraged to attend a meeting once a month to get to know one another. Please e-mail for our meeting time and location.
MOMS Night Out
Moms get together one night each month for dinner, coffee, or a movie. Most moms prefer to leave the kids with dad or a sitter for this fun activity.
Kids Day Out
A program designed to give both children and moms an inexpensive adventure out on the town.
Playgroups
Groups of children of similar age and their moms meet once a week. Playgroups encourage friendship between same-age children and are also helpful to moms who are having similar parenting challenges.
Nursing Home Visits
Members and their children visit a local nursing home or assisted living home once a month.
Morning at the Park
Bring a lunch and spend the morning chatting with other moms while the kids burn up some of that energy. This group usually meets a couple of times a month at different nearby parks.
Afternoon at the Park
This group usually meets in the cooler months of the year and offers an alternative park day for those with busy morning schedules.
Coffee Break
Held throughout the month at members’ homes. Come enjoy a cup of java, and the company of fellow MOMS Club members and their children.
Lunch Bunch
Held monthly at a member’s home, Lunch Bunch gives moms a chance to share their favorite recipes at themed lunches while enjoying friendly conversation.
Sunshine Committee
This group provides meals, clothing, baby-sitting, house cleaning, or just a phone call for members and their families who have just had a baby or have experienced a family crisis.
Fund-Raisers/Service Projects
At least once a year, a fund raiser is organized to raise money, which is spent to buy needed items for an organization that benefits children in our local community.
New ideas and suggestions for activities are always welcomed!
